About Manor Ward

Where is Manor Ward?

We are in Stockport (Cheshire), the area between St. Mary's Way, the A6, Offerton Lane/A626, Mile End Lane and Dialstone Lane.  This area makes up Manor Ward.   In terms of postal district, Manor is a part of Offerton and a part of Heaviley.  Many residents walk or bus into Stockport town centre to do their shopping.  On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays they can shop in Stockport's famous Victorian Market Hall as well. Greenest Corner in Stockport Town

There are four parks in Manor Ward: Vernon Park, Woodbank Park, Woodlands Park and St. Thomas' Rec.  We wag the tail-end of the Goyt Valley, and from Manor Ward you can walk all the way to Macclesfield or Oldham along the canal.  Greenest corner is really the only way to describe this part of town. Take a look at Manor Beauties.
